Cure.Fit turns unicorn after Zomato’s USD$50 million investment, with a valuation of $1.5 billion. Cure.Fit (currently present in 21 cities around India) seeks to be operational across 50 cities by FY22 through a franchising model that combines a Cult Centre, a Cult Gym, or both

F45 Training upped its expectations on its new net franchises sold and net studio opening but held steady on its full-year revenue expectations of $132 million and $137 million. It also purchased Vive Active, an Australian Pilates brand.

Evolution Wellness have entered into an agreement with Les Mills Asia Pacific that will now provide Les Mills video-on-demand content to EW’s Virtual Studio platform. The latter is now available as a digital add-on for any Celebrity Fitness or Fitness First membership, or as a standalone membership. Virtual Studio is accessible through a mobile device, or any web browser.

The addition of Les Mills programs delivered by both the LMI and EW team completes the Virtual Studio customer value proposition by providing the widest, most diverse range of content available at a fraction of the cost of any other provider.

Les Mills APAC expands long-term partnership with Evolution Wellness (EW) in SEA, to now include LES MILLS Content – EW can offer 100 Les Mills workouts and recorded live-stream videos via their own app or website.

Les Mills has launched “Les Mills Boutique” – Includes a bespoke studio fit-out plan, a studio operations guide, instructor training and access to a regularly refreshed programme of newly-launched Les Mills workouts.

Viva Leisure announced their new Viva Pay division is up and running. It is expected the Viva Pay service will develop to integrate with the Plus Fitness franchise network which currently processes approximately $100 million in sales per annum.

Richard Branson scanned on our Evolt 360 machine onboard his “Scarlet Lady” Virgin Voyages ship last month and achieved a perfect fitness score of 10/10 (Bio Wellness Index Score).

SoulBody Fitness launched SoulBody Restore, as they recognized the need for a recovery program that gyms can implement with no licensing fees and instructors can teach with seamless choreography.

ISSA has partnered with Aidong Fitness China and have already kicked things off with scheduling a master trainer camp. Aidong is the exclusive content provider for Xiaomi’s fitness products.
