Ms Audrey Tong has served in several senior roles across the public health, info-communications, and banking industry over the last 27 years. She currently heads the Physical Activity and Weight Management Division at the Health Promotion Board (HPB), that is responsible for the board’s physical activity promotion and weight-management efforts – which include the hugely popular National Steps ChallengeTM, a nation-wide pedometer based physical activity initiative and the MOVEIT slew of free, daily workout sessions available islandwide. Prior to her current appointment, she led the board’s Corporate and Industry Partnerships Division that focused on establishing strategic partner alliances across the private and public sectors, developing holistic and sustainable partnership collaboration across HPB’s key strategic focus areas. She also leads the team in the introduction of the Healthpoints Rewards Loyalty Programme, a nation-wide adopted loyalty programme to promote and sustain healthy lifestyles. Before joining HPB, Ms Audrey Tong was the Head of Consumer Marketing at StarHub Ltd, Singapore first fully integrated infocommunications company, with responsibility for Retail, Segment, Sales Channel Marketing & Enablement and Retention operations for StarHub’s consumer business. During her time there she leads and managed many key industry product marketing launches and campaigns as well as industry leading initiatives.
