Emma McGrady

As the Group Director of Spas at Crown Resorts – Australia, with locations in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, Emma McGrady is responsible for the spa’s strategic direction.

Emma has over 28 years of experience in the Global Spa and Wellness industry working in Ireland, USA, and Australia. For the last 20 years, Emma has held a variety of management positions and led operational teams and enhanced spa services. She has worked across the opening of two new spas (Perth and Sydney) which included overseeing the design, planning and employment of pre-opening teams. Emma has successfully introduced holistic wellness experiences as part of the spa’s overall treatment offerings. These wellness offerings sit alongside traditional spa offerings where guests are encouraged to experience a deeper level of wellbeing. Emma’s expertise includes conceptualising, project management, pre-openings, and strategic planning.

In her current role, the three spas have been recognised both within the Australia – Asian regions and internationally with award nominations and wins, including her teams achieving the renowned Forbes rated Spas for seven consecutive years. Emma is also a respected panellist and has sat on numerous global industry forums & is on the 2023 World Spa & Wellness Award judging team -These Global awards recognise and reward the work that Spas do around the globe, honouring Hotel and Resort Spas in all regions. One of the leading honours in the industry, these awards acknowledge excellence of care, service and standards and serve to inspire spas around the world, helping to raise global industry standards.

Emma is also a speaker at Beyond Activ Asia-Pacific in Sydney, Australia.
