Hugo Braam is co-founder and CEO of Virtuagym, the Amsterdam-based market-leading software provider for fitness businesses. Established with his brother in 2008, Virtuagym started off as a consumer-facing app for exercise and nutrition tracking. Within a few years, and after repeated requests from fitness professionals to develop a software solution for those working in the industry, the pair transitioned into providing a complete digital package for gym, club, studio owners, and personal trainers. Hugo has been at the helm of Virtuagym for almost 13 years and has a track record of championing innovation within tech. He also holds degrees in both civil and intellectual property law and is a fully qualified lawyer.
