Yap Chin Siang

Mr Yap Chin Siang assumed the position of Deputy Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board in June 2020. In this role, he leads the Experience Development Group in developing original tourism concepts and experiences, promoting investments in new tourism products, developing Singapore as a leisure and business events capital, as well as building distinctive and sustainable precincts that shape a unique and holistic visitor experience. Chin Siang is also responsible for the Corporate Development functions including Finance, Human Resources and Organisation Development, Legal as well as Compliance and Corporate Services. He also heads the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau to attract and develop quality exhibitions, conferences, association congresses and corporate events to Singapore.
