Jeff Budiman

Jeff Budiman is an Indonesian-born entrepreneur who co-founded The FIT Company – the first wellness technology startup that cultivates the health and wellness ecosystem in Indonesia. Jeff, who was born on 29 November 1988 holds [a] Bachelor of Business, Accounting & Banking Finance Degree from Monash University in Australia. At the age of 25, Jeff with his three partners founded 20FIT, the first micro-gym that uses impulses stimulation by the means of Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology. By introducing this innovative approach to Indonesia, the micro-gym quickly gained wide recognition and currently has expanded to 14 locations and acquired 2,400 active members. It has also received several prestigious awards, including The Most Trusted Companies in Service Excellence from Indonesia Business and Company Awards 2017 and The Fastest Growing Company from Business Excellence Forum & Awards 2016. Jeff, who has a strong passion in entrepreneurship recognized bigger opportunities in the wellness market. As the potential market of global wellness economy is projected to grow by 8% and reaching over $197 billion by 2022, he expanded his business to create a tech-enabled ecosystem of wellness-focused products and services. At present, there are five additional business units under his company’s flag, namely FITSTOP (boutique gym), FIT Lokal (healthy fast foods), FITmee (low-calorie instant noodle), Slim Gourmet (premium healthy catering), and Kredo Aum (fitness tech distributor). All of these business lines will be integrated within one app, named FIT2GO, in which members will have unified membership access to various wellness activities such as exercise, nutrition, supplements, equipment, and mental exercise. Stated as the pioneer of the holistic wellness approach, The FIT Company has received seed funding from East Ventures. The funding is being used in accordance with the company’s mission, which is to establish a technology-enabled ecosystem consisting of wellness-focused products and services.
